New Features of the REMEDI 1000

The system can be operated in two modes, the 'MONITORED" mode which complies with AS 2896 enables the panel to distinguish between the usual switched functions while at the same time the panel monitors the integrity of the wiring where "SYSTEM SHORT CIRCUIT" and "SYSTEM OPEN CIRCUIT" are able to be detected. In its alternate mode (switched only) the panel can be used to monitor the "ON" and "OFF" functions only.

The Facia panel is manufactured from Polycarbonate, the surface finish allows easy cleaning with all alarm controls and instructions under the surface. The fluorescent display will accept messages with up to 40 characters and the memory holds 24 individual messages.

The panel Facia also has an infrared receiver window, this window allows the programming of the panel while IN operation OR prior to commissioning, messages may be altered to suit the particular hospital at any time, all that is needed is a Laptop computer and an infrared transmitter which communicates through the panel Facia. When the panel is in "programming mode" all system operating parameters can be modified.

As part of the Remedi 1000 system the Alarm Panel also has a matching BMS interface, this unit is installed in parallel with the Alarm Panel and incorporates 24 clean contacts with the option of either Normally Open or Closed terminals. When the Remedi 1000 Alarm Panel is in "Test" mode it will also operate the BMS Interface contacts.
