REMEDI 3000 Tourniquet Air Control

The REMEDI 3000 Tourniquet Air Control Panel is designed and manufactured for wherever pneumatic Tourniquets are required. The unit can be connected to any clean, dry air supply such as Medical Breathing Air or Tool Air supply for inflation purposes and must be suitably earthed if installed in Cardiac Protected areas.

Function

The main function of the panel is to monitor the pressure supplied to the Tourniquet cuff while in use and to monitor the time of use since the Tourniquet was applied. The panel has three major audible/visual Alarm Functions and one minor Audible reminder function. The first two of the major alarms monitor the pressure being supplied by the panel to the Tourniquet cuff, the third alarm monitors a maximum pressure above which the system should not be used. The minor audible reminder alarm is a pre-set timer which activates an electronic whistle at 15 minute intervals after the panel has been "set" in operation.

Safety Features

The REMEDI 3000 Tourniquet Air Control Panel has built in electronic and mechanical safety features to protect the patient when the Tourniquet is applied and to monitor the system. These include:

• Pressure Increase/Decrease Audible and Visual Alarm
• Over Pressure Audible and Visual Alarm
• 15 Minute Elapsed Time Audible Alarm

The REMEDI 3000 Tourniquet Air Control Panel has a polycarbonate facia with a dust and moisture sealed edge flange, both are finished in light grey.
