REMEDI 1000

The new REMEDI 1000 Alarm System is designed with the new Medical gas Installation Code (AS 2896-1998) in mind, we have incorporated the new monitoring requirements of the code while maintaining the existing ease of use properties already utilised in the previous model.

Features of the REMEDI 1000 Alarm System are

The main alarm panel is able to be interconnected to a Building Management System through the matching REMEDI 1000BMS alarm module, this control unit is mounted in the false ceiling space and provides clean "Normally Open" and "Normally Closed" contacts for the attachment to any BMS system. When the main panel "Test" button is pressed the REMEDI 1000BMS also initiates a complete Test procedure thus ensuring the whole system functionality is checked.

Installation is simple, standard figure eight cable suffices throughout, no special wiring techniques or cables are required.

The unit is supplied complete with a 12V transformer with 240V three pin plug for connection to a standard socket.

Monitoring of Gas Supply Systems

REMEDI 1000 dimensions TheHoslab Gas Alarm Monitor is designed and manufactured to comply with A.S. 2896 - 1998 the current Australian Standard for the installation and testing of non flammable medical gas pipeline systems.

The REMEDI 1000 gas alarm monitor has a polycarbonate cover with a dust and moisture sealed edge flange finished in "light grey". (This panel is part of a matching panel set for operating theatre areas incl. surgical tool air control and tourniquet air control panels). This polycarbonate cover gives a clean serviceable finish that is pleasing to the eye.

The status indicating lights are a multiple filament LED type giving security of indication and there is an audible alarm to bring to the attention of the staff servicing the area that the status of the gases system has changed. There is also a MUTE button to cancel the audible alarm. The audible alarm will be reinstated after a period of time (the period of time to be determined by the clients individual requirements, to a maximum period of 60 minutes). This function is extremely important in a busy working environment where alarms may be overlooked.

The REMEDI 1000 gas alarm monitor is powered by a 240V / 12V ac transformer which mounted within the false ceiling space.
